Newport to Newnham

This area of the coast stretches from south Wales into Gloucestershire in England. It is notable for historical, geological and wildlife features. The Monmouthshire coast retains evidence of its long history of human use with archaeological and historical oddities dating from the Bronze Age, the Iron Age, the Industrial Age and even more recent heritage sites. Going up the Severn there are further beautiful spots to watch birdlife and also to watch the spectacle that is the Severn Bore.
